St. Francis Xavier School has been providing students with quality Catholic education since 1958.
We are accredited by the New England Association of Colleges and Schools.
We offer classes in Grade 5 through Grade 8.
Our school is made up of students from 21 communities.
We offer an education based on the Gospel values of Jesus, providing students with a firm foundation of faith in this challenging world.
Our Monthly Service Project Program illustrates to our students that it is everyone’s responsibility as a good citizen of the world to recognize and assist those in need.
Our Learning Center is staffed by specialized teachers with the training and ability to work with children whose learning styles do not always fit into a typical educational model.
Our students are offered extra-curricular activities, which contribute to the education of the whole student. Extra-curricular activities include: music lessons, a school band, a school choir, drama productions, boys and girls basketball teams which compete in the South Shore Parish School League, after-school clubs such as Chess Club, Legos Club, Newspaper Club and others.
The Student Government program develops leaders and instills self-confidence and empowerment that students carry with them throughout their lives.
Our students consistently score higher on standardized testing in English Language Arts and Mathematics and qualify for honors level courses as freshmen in high school.
Our students have a 100% acceptance rate as Freshman at private schools to which they apply, including Archbishop Williams High School, BC High, Cardinal Spellman, Catholic Memorial High School, Fontbonne Academy, and Notre Dame Academy
